Spring/ Summer 2012 Dress Trend #1: Airy maxi dresses. Maxi dresses are always in vogue but during Spring/ Summer 2012 season it is airy maxis that will be top trendy. Made of chiffon, taffeta, organza and other sheer fabrics maxi dresses come in colorful prints. D&G and Emilio Pucci offer us multilayered dresses with scarf-inspired prints, Just Cavalli and Naeem Khan go for leopard and polka dots while Roccobarocco simply combines contrast colors.

Spring/ Summer 2012 Dress Trend #2: Mini dresses. While some ladies opt for airy maxi dresses others will definitely want to show more of their bodies and trendy mini dresses will help them a lot with this. Paco Rabanne, Balmain and other designers have made a variety of super mini dresses in different colors and designs.

Spring/ Summer 2012 Dress Trend #3: Midi-length dresses. Midi-length dresses are perfect for those who dislike maxi dresses but feel shy or inappropriate to wear mini dresses. Midi dresses look good on women of all ages and can be good for many occasions. In a dress from Giorgio Armani you can visit a red carpet event. Victoria Beckham’s tight-fitting midi will look perfect at a book launch or a store opening and a stylish Etro will make you feel gorgeous everywhere you go.

Spring/ Summer 2012 Dress Trend #4: Glittering dresses. If you want all attention centered at you just go for one of glittering dresses designers provided in plenty for Spring/ Summer 2012. Try a silver or gold dress or find a bolder option in green, red or blue. Elie Saab designed fantastic sequined gowns. Giorgio Armani made a few dresses in color of liquid metal. And Paco Rabanne worked with iridescent hues.

Spring/ Summer 2012 Dress Trend #5: Asymmetrical hemlines. Asymmetrical hemline is a big Spring/ Summer 2012 trend which extends not only to dresses but to various tops and coats, too. Mary Katrantzou made a number of fabulous dresses with trains. Missoni cut hemlines to one side, while majority of designers simply re-invented a mullet dress (which has been a hot Winter 2012 trend).

Wrap Belt

Before Victoria Beckham started designing she was a style icon and a trendsetter. Women all over the world looked up at her and copied Posh Spice’s looks. When she became a designer nothing changed… Well, actually it did. Ladies started to look at her with even greater interest and respect. So, when she wears something we can be sure that soon her true fans will try the same look. And if she dons something twice or more times, it is definitely going to be a trend. Why am talking about it? Because since Victoria Beckham launched her Fall/ Winter 2012/ 2013 collection she’s been wearing a wrap around leather belt with her almost every outfit. And the item does look stylish!

First Lady Michelle Obama had on blue the other night. But in the most regal way possible. As she and her Presidential husband welcomed British Prime Minister David Cameron & his wife Samantha Cameron, Mrs. Obama made a statement in an off-the-shoulder Marchesa evening gown.

I like this look but …
DO WE LOVE IT?!

Beam me up

Remove the beam in your eye, stop judging others and get the pole out of your own eye 1st. this will help you to see that you have your own issues.

Matthew 7:4
Or how can you say to your brother, Let me get the tiny particle out of your eye, when there is the beam of timber in your own eye?

Fear Factor

Look beyond the fear factor! It’s a distraction to get you off track; begin to speak to the spirit of fear and call it gone. Challenge the very appearance of it!

2 Timothy 1:7 (KJV)

7For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Turn Your Face to the Wall

Earnestly turn your face to the wall an begin to pray and remember that God hears the prayer of the righteous.

2 Kings 20:2-6(AMP) Then Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed to the Lord, saying,

3I beseech You, O Lord, [earnestly] remember now how I have walked before You in faithfulness and truth and with a whole heart [entirely devoted to You] and have done what is good in Your sight. And Hezekiah wept bitterly   5Turn back and tell Hezekiah, the leader of My people, Thus says the Lord, the God of David your [forefather]: I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; behold, I will heal you. On the third day you shall go up to the house of the Lord.

6I will [a]add to your life fifteen years and deliver you and this city [Jerusalem] out of the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for My own sake and for My servant David’s sake.

Hands Off

Keep you hands off of property that doesn’t belong to you!  “Material or Fleshly”

2 Samuel 11:2-3  (AMP)

2One evening David arose from his couch and was walking on the roof of the king’s house, when from there he saw a woman bathing; and she was very lovely to behold.

3David sent and inquired about the woman. One said, Is not this Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam and the wife of Uriah the Hittite?

Divine Resource

Divine resource means you have what you need in life. Sowing of your money is a seed that causes increase and great provision.

2 Corinthians 9:10
And [God] Who provides seed for the sower and bread for eating will also provide and multiply your [resources for] sowing and increase the fruits of your righteousness [ which manifests itself in active goodness, kindness, and charity].

“Crowd Pleaser”

“Crowd Pleaser” puts you at risk of being excepted by others. Become a God pleaser not a people pleaser!

1 Samuel 15:24 Amplified Bible

24And Saul said to Samuel, I have sinned; for I have transgressed the commandment of the Lord and your words, because I feared the people and obeyed their voice.
