The one shoulder sash macrame embellished overlay gold & black viscose dress is by London-based designer Ekaterina Kukhareva. She definitely took a risk with this bold look, but the way she put together from makeup to shoes I think she did an awesome job!

Sparkle star Jordin rocked a multi-print long gown from the Etro Fall 2012 collection. And pulled it off nicely.Fresh faced and pretty as always.

“Scandal” star Kerry Washington also rocked a bright color on the yellow

20121128-075036.jpg

She went the sheer lace route in her Stella McCartney Resort 2013 longsleeved dress. She accessorized with a yellow Kotur clutch and coral pumps. And some type of way, pulled this difficult almost frumpy look completely off. Only a few people could pull this look off… I love that she took a risk !

Shoes Say Volumes About Your Personality

Shoes Say Volumes About Your Personality

People say clothes count for first impressions. They really do, because each person has his own style which reflects his or her personality. But can shoes say volumes about their owner? According to psychologists they can.  Shoes show your fashion sense, status, neatness, attention you pay to details, etc.

shoes that determine presonality

Stilettos as weapon If you love stilettos you are most likely a vivid and extraordinary person who longs for attention. You can be capricious and a bit spoilt but you always get what you want. You are confident about your powers and sex appeal. However, some people take you as a silly and shallow girl.

Flats for comfort Flats-lover is usually sweet, friendly and a little boring. Deep in your soul you are still a child. You try to look open and prepossessing but strangers can hardly get too close to you. Women who like flats are usually great fashionistas who are fond of wearing new clothes. You are kind and considerate. And men see you as a very fragile person who they want to care for.

Biker-style queen You are reserved and a bit egocentric. You don’t trust people and prefer doing everything yourself. But at the same time you are smart and sensitive and often worry about your relations with other people. You get sincerely surprised with rudeness and inadequate behavior.

Dandy-girl If you like loafers and oxford shoes you belong to a group of women who are undemonstrative and prefer hiding their feelings even if their souls are in flames. You know what you want and achieve your goals no matter what happens and people around you think. You can be too punctilious which bothers you to make friends easily.

Tomboy Girl who has a weak point about sporty footwear is normally creative and sociable. They love traveling and feel extremely bored when routine makes them stay at the same place for long. You need to always be among people who love and respect you.

Comfortable sexiness Women who wear wedge shoes are usually straightforward, confident and love power. However, when it comes to decision making they tend to hesitate. In relationships they seek for reliability and trust.

And while we generally prefer the same style of footwear to wear on the daily basis we still love experiments and this explains how in one wardrobe one can keep all existing shoe styles. Don’t take this article very seriously but isn’t it generally true about you?

From all-over prints at Herve Leger by Max Azria to horse head knits at Altazarra, equestrian styling got a revamped persona for Fall. We’re a long way from riding boots last, and this year’s sexy stable gal style focuses just as much on accessories as garments, making it easily accessible and achievable for our budget fashionistas.

Shoe trends for Fall/ Winter 2011/ 2012

20121022-081312.jpg

Shoe trends for Fall/ Winter 2011/ 2012 are as diverse as ever so that every woman could find something for herself. If we speak about the color scheme, then the trendiest tones for the upcoming fashion season are: black, white, stone, metallic, beige, burgundy, dark blue, chocolate, deep violet, khaki and red. Bright hues are scarce, which is normal as we prefer wearing darker colors during autumn and winter.

Materials that prevail in Fall/ Winter 2011/ 2012 shoe collections include: ordinary leather, patent and reptile skins, suede and satin. There is also a lot lace and occasional fur this season.

One more thing is worth mentioning before we start enumerating shoe trends for Fall/ Winter 2011/ 2012 – this fashion season both pike and round toes are popular. This means you can stick to your favorite shape of shoe and still be very fashionable.

Now let’s start:

Shoe Trend for Fall/ Winter 2011/ 2012 #1: Reptile skins. Reptile leather is going to be very trendy during Fall/ Winter 2011/ 2012. Dozens designers opted for snake skin to create their shoes from. Crocodile leather isn’t as popular but it is still widely found in Fall/ Winter 2011/ 2012 footwear ranges. For reptile skins see Balenciaga, Giorgio Armani, Chloe, Donna Karan, Michael Kors, Louis Vuitton, Valentino and other collections.

20121022-081537.jpg

Shoe Trend for Fall/ Winter 2011/ 2012 #2: Patent leather. This type of leather maybe a bit unpractical to wear and less versatile than ordinary leather, but no one will ever argue on the fact patent leather looks gorgeous. For Fall/ Winter 2011/ 2012 you can go for super bold color combinations like red and black, black and white, blue and burgundy. See how Mark Jacobs, and Viktor & Rolf use color blocking in their Fall/ Winter 2011/ 2012 shoe collections.

20121022-081647.jpg

Shoe Trend for Fall/ Winter 2011/ 2012 #3: Suede. Good suede looks luxurious and designers know that better than others because almost every fashion season we see thousands of different shoe designs made of this material. During Fall/ Winter 2011/ 2012 suede is very trendy and it comes in a variety of shades. Diane von Furstenberg offers a lot of styles to choose from.

20121022-081728.jpg

Shoe Trend for Fall/ Winter 2011/ 2012 #4: Satin. Satin shoes can hardly be worn daily but for special occasion they are the best. Looking totally chic satin shoes come as a very beautiful shoe trend of Fall/ Winter 2011/ 2012.

20121022-081810.jpg

Shoe Trend for Fall/ Winter 2011/ 2012 #5: Platforms and wedges. Wedge trend has transferred to Fall/ Winter 2011/ 2012 from the previous season. But if in Spring/ Summer 2011 we have seen colorful and unusual platforms for Fall/ Winter 2011/ 2012 designs are more modest and elegant.

20121022-081853.jpg

Shoe Trend for Fall/ Winter 2011/ 2012 #6: Lacing. As well as the wedge trend, lacing has been brought by designers from Spring/ Summer 2011 fashion season. And we also see the transformation of the style. Lacing, which used to be rather delicate and feminine in Spring, has become sexier and more aggressive in Fall and Winter. See Alexander McQueen, Marc Jacobs, Rag & Bone for lacing.

20121022-081935.jpg

Shoe Trend for Fall/ Winter 2011/ 2012 #7: Plenty of buckles. Fashion repeats itself. A couple of seasons ago we already spoke about buckles but then they nearly all disappeared just to return now in a larger diversity.

20121022-082024.jpg

Shoe Trend for Fall/ Winter 2011/ 2012 #8: Chunky heel. It is quite reasonable that chunky heels appear during colder seasons as they provide comfort and confidence we all need at this time. In Fall/ Winter 2011/ 2012 collections there are plenty of shoes with chunky heels. Styles of these shoes are very different, from classy pumps to rocker boots.

20121022-082129.jpg

Shoe Trend for Fall/ Winter 2011/ 2012 #9: Spike heels. Chunky heels are comfy but they will never be as stylish and sexy as spike heels, that’s why designers always create loads of shoes with stilettos. Women love them because they love looking sexy.

20121022-082217.jpg

Shoe Trend for Fall/ Winter 2011/ 2012 #10: Socks in shoes. Few women really like wearing socks in their shoes but after Rihanna appeared in public sporting pumps with a pair of socks millions of her fans started copying her. If socks in shoes seem too much for you try warm tights instead. At least you will look more elegant.
