Let go of the wrong that was done to you! Don’t allow yourself to harbor ill feelings from past offenses. Your past can cripple your future or you can use it to become a part of your success story. Read the story of Joseph and see how he went from the pit to the palace. Forgive them and let it go.
Genesis 37:23-27 (AMP)
23When Joseph had come to his brothers, they stripped him of his [distinctive] long garment which he was wearing;
24Then they took him and cast him into the [well-like] pit which was empty; there was no water in it.
25Then they sat down to eat their lunch. When they looked up, behold, they saw a caravan of Ishmaelite [mixed Arabians] coming from Gilead, with their camels bearing gum [of the Styrax tree], balm (balsam), and myrrh or laudanum, going on their way to carry them down to Egypt.
26And Judah said to his brothers, What do we gain if we slay our brother and conceal his blood?
27Come, let us sell him to the Ishmaelites [and Midianites, these mixed Arabians who are approaching], and let not our hand be upon him, for he is our brother and our flesh. And his brothers consented.
Genesis 50:19-20 (AMP)
19And Joseph said to them, Fear not; for am I in the place of God? [Vengeance is His, not mine.]
20As for you, you thought evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring about that many people should be kept alive, as they are this day.
